The cross-border project, titled “Eco-logical – Eco-touristic” – green tourism as a chance for developing the Polish-Slovak borderland is an idea for cooperating within the frame of developing tourism, drawn by three organizations: Lokalna Organizacja Turystyczna “Wrota Karpat Wschodnich” [Local Tourism Organization “Getaway to the Eastern Carpathians”], The Dziedzictwo Przyrodnicze [Natural Heritage] Foundation, and Ekotrend Slovakia – zväz ekologického poľnohospodárstva [Ekotrend Slovakia – Association of Organic Farming]The undertaking incorporates the following districts within the Przemyskie Voivodeship: przemyski, bieszczadzki, leski, and sanocki, and the following districts in the Prešov Region: Levoča, Poprad, Stará Lubovňa, Kežmarok, and Sabinov. The project was launched between February 02, 2015 and May 31, 2015 and included 40 beneficiaries: owners of agricultural and ecological holdings, agritourism establishments, as well as individuals interested in starting such activities
